Two New Books

Publish it Yourself
Less than a month to go until the PiY exhibition at Maison d'art Bernard Anthonioz in Nogent sur Marne, just outside Paris. It is "une exposition de livres photos auto-publiés" and features an illustrious list of photographers who have all dabbled in self-publishing photobooks. I am proud to be listed amongst these photographers, many of whom are photo heros of mine.

Now We Are 30 is the feature of a nice review on One Year of Books. The site is a great concept too, documenting all the books that husband and wife, Laurence Vecten and Pierre Hourquet buy during the course of 2010.

This month sees the opening of "de zines" an exhibition at La Casa Encendida in Madrid organised by Roberto Vidal and Oscar Martin, which aims to reflect what is happening in contemporary publishing concerning independent publications; how this field relates to the field of artistic production and the contemporary social, cultural and political environment.
Now We Are 30 is featured as one of 400 international publications that have been gathered together for this project, which runs from 29th June - 29th August.
